I have a question about USER AUDIO import in Omnisphere 2. I'm trying to create some patches based on my own samples, but it's quite problematic, especially when loading longer and more sustained ones.
Omnisphere automatically changes the sample's pitch AND the tempo, which results in the 'chipmunk effect' (for example: C3 sounds fine, but G3 is already useless). A sampled pad sounds just horrible on higher notes of an octave.
Is there any way to fix this? In Kontakt, I just use the 'Time Machine' option. I know Omni is not a sampler, but I've heard lots of commercial soundbanks that use their own samples and they sound amazing and natural, so I wonder if I'm doing something wrong? :(
